mowlog is a personal hobby project. It is not a company, not a registered business, and has no VAT number. It is operated from Luxembourg by A. Fontaine.

This block also serves as the legal notice required by Luxembourg's e-commerce law (loi du 14 août 2000 relative au commerce électronique) for any public online service.

Service provided "as is"

mowlog is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. That includes, without limitation, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of logbook data, compatibility with any specific mower model, uptime, and durability of stored data. Use of mowlog is at your own risk.

Nothing in this disclaimer overrides the mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your EU country of residence. Luxembourg and EU law cap what can be excluded against a consumer, and those caps apply here.

Early access, data may be wiped

mowlog is in early access and open to anyone who signs up. Features, the data model, and the service itself may change, break, or be discontinued without notice. Data may be migrated, reset, or lost. Do not rely on mowlog as the only record of your mower history. Keep your own backup of anything you would be unhappy to lose.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Luxembourg law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of mowlog. This includes, without limitation, lost data, damage to a mower or lawn, missed maintenance, decisions taken based on logbook entries, and third-party content surfaced through the service.

Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Luxembourg law, in particular for gross negligence, willful misconduct, and the consumer-protection minimums set by EU law, is unaffected by this section.

User-generated content

You are responsible for the entries, photos, notes, and any other content you post on mowlog. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or that you do not have the right to share.

The operator does not actively monitor user content but may remove content that is unlawful or that clearly breaks the spirit of the project. To report content, email team@mowlog.com.

Not affiliated with mower brands

Husqvarna, Worx, Stihl, Gardena, Bosch, Robomow, Ambrogio, Mammotion, Segway, Ecovacs, and other brand or model names referenced in the app belong to their respective owners. mowlog is an independent project. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any mower manufacturer or distributor.

Governing law and jurisdiction

This disclaimer and any dispute arising out of the use of mowlog are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of Luxembourg City.

This is without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your EU country of residence, including any right you may have, as a consumer, to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Changes to this disclaimer

The operator may update this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of mowlog after an update means you accept the updated disclaimer.
